 1. BACKGROUND PROJECT

What is IP design? P stands for intellectual property, that is, intellectual property rights. It may be any form of entertainment such as cartoons, games, novels, movies, brand images, etc., when it is supported by content and can be continuously created, it may even be someone or a famous quote. Words have the potential to become IP. The purpose of IP is:Improve the recognition of the precise crowd.Increase attractiveness to potential crowds.Image design with a main axis for business output

什么是IP设计?P即intellectual property,也就是知识产权,可能是动漫游戏、小说电影、品牌形象等等任意一种娱乐形态,在有内容支撑并可被持续创作的情况下,甚至是某人或是名言趣话都有成为IP的潜力。IP的目的在于:提高精准人群的认同度;增加对潜在人群的吸引力;为业务输出有主轴的形象设计。

 2. STORYBOARD 

Generally speaking, the creation process of the IP image is similar to the design process, and both need to go through the stages of research, analysis, conception, and creation. Research and analysis: As designers, we must first know what we are going to do? For whom? What do our users need? In the process of creating the IP image of Yong Xiaohe, tapping its value, spirit, and tone is an indispensable step. This is also the most important step in all stages. If a firm foundation is not laid, then the house will collapse. 

一般来说,IP形象的创作过程与设计过程大同小异,都需要经历研究分析、构思、创作阶段。研究分析:作为设计师,首先我们要知道自己要做什么?为谁服务?我们的用户需要什么?在邕小合IP形象创作过程中,挖掘它的价值、精神、调性是不可缺少的步骤,这也是所有阶段中最重要的一个步骤,如果没有打下一个牢固的地基,那么这房必塌。

3. CHARACTER SETTING

It’s really not easy to make original designs. This IP image was created by the designer with a lot of effort, and there are probably no fewer than dozens of them for reference. First, you have to have an idea in your mind, and then outline it bit by bit. After you finish it, you need to modify it repeatedly. Perhaps a little inconsistency will make you rework the entire work. The following are a few rejected drafts by the client.

做原创设计真的很不容易,这个IP形象是设计师花费比较多的心思去完成的,光参考大概就找了不下几十个。首先在脑海里面要有一个思路,然后一点一滴勾勒出来,完成之后就是反复地修改,也许一个点的不协调,都会让你把整个作品再重新改一遍。以下就是几稿被客户否定的废稿。

最终构思阶段:有性格的形象设计,生活在故事里才叫角色;从无形的血滴演变成人类形体特征,使动作更丰富,增强模拟人类的表现力,则表现力的提升带来更大的创作可能性;情感定位,邕小合IP形象也赋予它人的情感特征,比如爱笑爱吃爱睡觉,喜欢拥抱等等,这些情感共振点。

  4. CAMERA VOICE DESIGN 

Creation stage: vivid design, in order to highlight the characteristics of blood drops, the main color red of blood drops is used on Yong Xiaohe’s body; the head is in the shape of blood drops, which is highly recognizable; the crown and clothing are integrated into the Zhuang people Clothing elements express a special language designed by designers to promote national culture and aesthetic needs.

创作阶段:生动化设计,为了突出血滴特点,在邕小合身体上使用了血滴的主色调红色;脑袋为血滴的形状,辨识度高;头冠和服装则是融入了壮族人民的服饰元素,表达了设计者为弘扬民族文化和审美需求,而设计的一种特殊语言。
